Unfortunately we can't save them all. Here are a few that did not
make it.. The very sad part is all of these animals could have led happy
long lives with the proper environment and nutrition.
Chinese Water Dragon - On the day this one came to us we realized we
could probably not save it. One of the worst cases of MBD that I have
seen. Every bone was twisted.
Savannah Monitor - This one was heart breaking. I sat with her
for an hour holding her as she died at the vets. She had MBD so bad that
she could not lift her body any longer. Her back was badly burned as well.
Bearded Dragon - I have never seen one in such poor shape. The
body was like rubber. No bone structure left. Totally flat when
laying down. We had to put him down.
Bearded Dragon - She did make it. But, due to the negligence of
the original owner, this sweet girl had NO front feet. They were 'bitten'
off by her cat. I am glad to report she is in a new home and thriving!
